Terms of Service.

About these terms

TV Party and tv-party.com are provided by Harry Chafer-Cook. These terms govern your use of the website, app and phone controllers. By using TV Party, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Questions can be sent to harry@english-grammar-homework.com.

If you are not old enough to agree to these terms under the law where you live, your parent or guardian must agree and supervise your use. Purchases, if introduced, require permission from the account holder and any necessary parent or guardian.

Playing the games

TV Party is designed for local multiplayer play, with a compatible device hosting the big screen and compatible smartphones acting as controllers on the same local network. You are responsible for your devices, network access and permission to use them. Supported devices, game availability and player limits may vary by release and store listing.

No TV Party account is required for the current app. Game results are for entertainment and do not carry a cash value. Play in a safe space and look after your devices and the people around you.

Your permission to use TV Party

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use the app lawfully, subject to these terms and any applicable store terms. TV Party’s software, artwork, audio and branding remain the property of their respective owners. Open-source and other third-party components retain their own licence terms.

Do not unlawfully redistribute or sell the app, bypass purchase restrictions, disrupt other players or networks, or use the app for unlawful or abusive content. Nothing here restricts rights to use, inspect or modify software that applicable law or a component’s licence gives you.

Free games and the full collection

At launch, you will be able to play a small selection of mini-games for free, or make a one-time purchase of US$3.99 to unlock all TV Party mini-games and all future TV Party mini-games. This is not a subscription. Store listings are coming soon; this website does not currently accept purchases.

We guarantee at least one new mini-game per month until TV Party reaches a total of 100 mini-games. Some months may bring three or four, but only the minimum of one per month is guaranteed. Future mini-games released beyond 100 are also included in the full-collection purchase; 100 is the endpoint of the monthly release guarantee, not a limit on the games included.

The purchase screen and store listing will show the final price, any applicable taxes, supported devices and purchase-restoration arrangements before you pay. Do not assume a purchase transfers between Google Play and Microsoft Store unless the listing explicitly confirms this. The full-collection entitlement and release commitment will not be removed retroactively by a general update to this page.

Payments, refunds and consumer rights

If paid upgrades become available, the relevant store’s checkout, billing and refund rules will apply alongside the purchase terms and your legal rights. Prices and any applicable taxes must be shown before confirmation. Store purchases may require a store account even though TV Party does not require its own account.

For a purchase problem, contact the store where you purchased or email us for help. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory right to a refund, repair, replacement, withdrawal or other remedy available under the consumer law that applies to you.

Privacy and things you create

Our Privacy Policy explains local device storage, local gameplay and website data. Use a nickname if you prefer. Other players can see names, scores, drawings and guesses shared within a session.

You retain any rights you have in content you create. You allow TV Party to transmit and display that content within your game session as needed to play. Please only share content you have the right to use and that is appropriate for your group.

Updates and availability

We may release fixes, change game features and update device requirements. We aim to keep the app working well, but cannot promise that every device or network will work without interruption or that any particular release will remain supported indefinitely. We will honour applicable law and any commitments made when you purchase paid content.

We may restrict use where necessary to address a material breach of these terms or a security issue. Any such action remains subject to applicable law and your rights regarding paid content.

Responsibility

TV Party is supplied with the care and legal protections required by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for problems caused by your devices, network, misuse, or events beyond our reasonable control, or for business losses from personal entertainment use.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where that would be unlawful, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights. These terms do not require you to give up access to courts or other remedies available under your local law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect changes to TV Party or legal requirements. The date above identifies the current version. We will give appropriate notice of material changes where required, and changes will not remove rights attached to purchases already made.
